In light of the severe flooding in the City of Fargo and the County of Cass, the City of Fargo has established the Spirit of Fargo Flood Fund to engage people in the region and beyond to financially support flood recovery efforts. The City of Fargo is partnering with Dakota Medical Foundation and Impact Foundation to raise funds to benefit individuals and community organizations within the City of Fargo and County of Cass. Dakota Medical Foundation is proud to match the first $40,000 in donations made to the Spirit of Fargo Flood Fund.

A Needs Committee has been established within the City of Fargo to ensure the money raised is distributed in a manner that addresses the greatest needs. Eligibility criteria and guidelines for assistance are being developed and will be placed on this website in the near future.

One hundred percent (100%) of the funds raised will go directly to flood recovery efforts in the City of Fargo and County of Cass. All donations are tax deductible. Impact Foundation does not assess any administrative processing fees. (Credit card companies assess a 3% fee for online donations.)
